In-Person Worship Canceled Until Further Notice

Hey Everyone! I hope this finds you all in good health and walking daily with the Lord in these uncertain times. I do want to announce that due to recent events concerning the coronavirus that Thriving Life Church will be suspending services for a few weeks and until further notice. Our leadership team has discussed this in-depth as well as consulting with our sister churches and overseers and we feel it is the wisest course of action to take. We don’t know how long this will last, but we will be examining the possibility of restarting Sunday services on a weekly basis. Our home groups will decide for themselves as to if/how they will continue meeting. I would also like to announce that in addition to this, the Men’s Northern Hub Conference, The Spring Cleaning of the Heart Woman’s Event as well as the Truebridge Leadership Conference have all been postponed/canceled until further notice. In view of this development however, your leadership is looking into the technology to be able to post our Sunday morning sermons on Facebook and intend for this to start this coming Sunday (March 22nd). Due to the short notice, the recordings may not be as “quality” as most are used to, but we will endeavor to improve with time and learn as we go. So please, check TLC out on its Facebook page in the coming weeks. Also, I would like to mention that we are still “The Church”, and although our usual methods of fellowship may change for a while, we must all endeavor to stay in contact with each other via various methods that technology has provided us in our day. Please feel free to call me at any time at 218-556-1545 if you have any prayer or visitation needs. Let’s keep the communications lines open the best we can within our church body. Also, keep in mind that the expenses of the church will continue, so we ask that you continue to give through tithes and offerings. You can mail donations to TLC, PO Box 26, Bagley, MN 56621 or can stop by the church during the week and use the offering boxes. I am usually here Tuesday afternoons and all day Wednesday and Thursday, though I’m in and out at times. I have more to share with you concerning the times we find ourselves in and intend to share those things in our weekly sermons so “tune in” Sunday via the TLC Facebook page. Please “spread the word” as some in our body do not use computers as much as others.
